Four Come Group sites fined by the Swedish Gaming Authority

Sweden flagFour gaming companies from the ComeOn Group have been fined the equivalent of EUR 16 million by the Swedish Gaming Authority. The penalized sites (ComeOn, Hajper, Snabbare.com, and Casinostugan) have received warnings and penalty fees, among other things, for unauthorized bonus offers on repeated occasions. The Swedish Gaming Authority says that the companies, by distributing gifts to vulnerable players, have breached their duty of care and further judge that the violations are of a serious degree.

The Swedish Gaming Authority clarifies that serious violations must result in the license being revoked unless a warning is considered sufficient. However, in these cases, it has been judged that it can be assumed that the four companies in question will not in the future violate the rules on bonus offers and therefore it is considered that a warning together with a penalty fee is a sufficient intervention.

  • Casinostugan Ltd receives a warning and penalty fee of appr. € 2.3 million.
  • ComeOn Sweden Ltd receives a warning and penalty fee of appr. € 3.3 million.
  • Hajper Ltd receives a warning and penalty fee of appr. € 4.7 million.
  • Snabbare Ltd receives a warning and penalty fee of appr. € 5.6 million.
